Due to our privileged location, we are very close to the main culinary centers of Gipuzkoa: Gros and the Old Town of San Sebastian are only 7 km away from the hotel; Tolosa, Orio, Hondarribia or Getaria are less than half an hour away by car. Michelin stars, pintxos, meat and fish grills, traditional restaurants, snack bars, a wide range that will allow you to enjoy one of the most recognized international cuisines of the moment.

We are going to tell you about options close to our hotel, those that you can find in Astigarraga itself, less than 20 minutes walking distance from Sagarlore hotel.

Located as we are in the heart of the Basque Cider Culture, our first recommendation is to visit some typical Basque winery or cider house. Of course, the best plan is Petritegi, located less than 300 meters from our hotel, a familiar cider house that offers varied cultural experiences (guided tours and workshops) and gastronomic (cider house menu with txotx cider) throughout the year. A real pleasure for the senses.

If you want to discover the most traditional pintxos in the Astigarraga, we recommend the bars of the bars Ikatza (943554989) and Sagartxo (943128458). You will find a great variety of pintxos that you can pair with the best local ciders.

To enjoy a good menu of the day we suggest you to make a reservation on the restaurants Ibai-Lur (943335255) and Txingurri (943333944). However, if you decide to eat a la carte, in Astigarraga there are the following traditional homemade restaurants: the aforementioned Ibai-Lur, the restaurant Kako (943551741) and Goiko-Iturri (943557867).

For lovers of ‘haute cuisine’ and Michelin stars, we recommend the Casa Mugaritz restaurant (943522455). Although it is not in Astigarraga, you can access it by car from the hotel in less than 10 minutes.
